The Regional Court in Plzeň has ruled that PlaneStation must vacate the Líně military reserve airport within two months of receiving the ruling. The tenant, which has operated the airport since 2000, said today it would appeal to the Supreme Court. However, the appeal has no suspensive effect. The Supreme Court can postpone the execution of the decision, thus postponing the two-month period for the eviction, which starts from the entry into force of the law, i.e. from the receipt of the judgment, for which the time limit is 30 to 90 days.

PlaneStation Pilsen s.r.o. leased the airport from the state in 2000 for 50 years with an option for another 50 years. However, the Ministry of Defence terminated the lease in February 2012 due to non-payment of rent since February 2010. In 2013, the ministry then filed a lawsuit to evict the site, which is being heard today. "We consider the termination of the lease to be valid, the lease ended in 2012," Senate President Jiří Levý said today.

PlaneStation stopped paying rent in 2010 because it could not fully use the airport. It has long argued that the ministry presented it with false parameters for the airport's runway and take-off runway, and that larger transport aircraft cannot land and take off there. She therefore demanded a rent reduction and a modification of the lease agreement, which the Ministry refused.
