Silcotub from Zalău starts the construction of a photovoltaic park in Călăraşi

The industrial pipe manufacturer Silcotub from Zalău, part of the international group Tenaris, has started the construction of a project to produce energy from renewable solar sources with a nominal power of 19.8 MW, respectively 21.2 MWp, in Călăraşi.

The total investment reaches RON 96.9 million, of which RON 29 million is financing from the European Union, and RON 67.8 million from own contribution.
The project would be built on a property owned by Silcotub, which is made up of two adjoining lots, namely an inner-city land of 25,000 sqm and one of 215,000 sqm.
