Therme invests in its power plant with photovoltaic panels

The Therme relaxation and wellness center in Balotești, one of the largest in Europe, is setting up a power plant with photovoltaic panels, with an installed power of 2.5 MWp and an energy storage system with a capacity of 0.5 MWh . The investment exceeds EUR 2.2 million. The contract was won by Enevo Group, the work also being carried out with the support of VoltLink Energy.

Therme recorded in 2022, the last reported year, business of RON 175.3 million, up 143.5 percent compared to the previous year. The company reported a net profit of RON 10.67 million, from a loss of RON 21.2 million in 2021, a year still affected by the COVID pandemic.

Therme Bucharest is part of the Austrian group A-Heat, specialized in the production of industrial refrigeration equipment, a sector in which it is present in Romania through the Jaeggi Industries factory in Sibiu.
